Qualifications: Must have a minimum of two years in a steady yoga practice and natural dance ability. Tuition: $1295 if registered 3 months in advance, $1395 two months in advance, $1595 one month in advance. Discounts: $200 off for light assistance at course. Annual dues: $125 due at course. Learn Hatha yoga basics, interactive, guided and expressive movement processes, therapeutic music selection, chakras study, guided imagery, community building, and stillness meditation. A 75-page training manual contains class flow outlines, recommended music lists, marketing, business and personal growth. A typical day at training: 8am - 9am - Meditation followed by class flow study 9am - 11am - Dance flow followed by music study 11am - 11:15am - Break 11:15am - 12:15pm - Class flow study, includes chakras study 12:15pm - 1:15pm - Lunch 1:15pm - 1:30pm - Rest with restorative guided visualizations 1:30pm - 2pm - Music study and question/answer period or outdoor class, weather permitting 2:00pm - 4:15pm - Practice teach 4:15pm - 4:30pm - Break 4:30pm - 5:30pm - Various lectures on business and marketing, projecting voice while teaching, adapting class to various populations, leadership, importance of meditation, mindfulness practices, envisioning and creative manifestation tools for creating your business. Weather permitting, some classes will be held outdoors to explore the elements of nature and how they relate the chakras and the class flow.
